My story would be incomplete without the part about GIVING BACK.

When I won two major scholarships my last year in college it changed everything for me.
I decided to pursue dream of actually MAKING IT as an artist, instead of working so hard on my back up plan.
As soon as I could return the favor, I started my own RINGHOLZ scholarships.

THE RASA ( Ringholz Art Supply Award)

This award has been given to a 2d major and a 3d major since 2011 at my alma mater Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
The two winners are chosen through a juried Undergraduate Art Show that occurs every February.

THE RINGHOLZ SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship has been awarded to two seniors from Jackson Hole, Wyoming since 2012.
These winners are chosen through the Jackson Hole Rotary Club who splits the procedes between the two winners
from an original RINGHOLZ painting auctioned each May.

THE RINGHOLZ FOUNDATION

My very own foundation started in 2014! EIGHT winners annually will be chosen from around the USA to recieve art grants!

Below are the amazing recipients of these awards, scholarships and grants.
Each of these artists are amazing in their own right, and I encourage you to enjoy and support their talents.
Out of everything I do, NOTHING is more rewarding or special as having the opportunity to help people pursue their dreams.

THANK YOU to EVERYONE who helps me make this possible.
Together we are fighting the good fight. May your goodness and giving be returned to you.

"I have felt a great shift in my art this year and am excited about the direction that it is taking. I am on the cusp of taking my artwork to the next level and am making the creative process a daily part of my life. This award will help provide the funds to take this next step and support my development as an artist, a needed and necessary role as I also balance the role of mother. Thank you so much for this opportunity! "

"My hope always as an artist is to provoke and gear the viewer towards introspective thought, and ask themselves who they are as people, and what is it or how is it that defines them. I wish to inspire those who've inspired me, whether it be the beautiful person walking down the street, or the energetic dog I’m playing with, or the sky filled with incomprehensible beauty of light burning millions of miles away, it doesn’t matter who or how, but if I can get someone to stop for just a moment, and forget about their daily lives and struggles, and indulge and explore a work of art I created, resting their mind and cultivating curiosity, then my job as an artist is done."

Without this award none of this could happen and while my love and dedication to the art wouldn’t change, my capabilities of bettering myself through classes and newer equipment would become something I would not have the luxury of attaining."
